The practice is based in Montana. It is not a walk-in lab in Nevada. Analysis and reporting are performed in Montana. Remote collection when the record can be taken that way. When the device has to move: courier, USPS, or FedEx, under chain of custody. Travel when the hardware, the system, or the court requires it — including sites that are not on a paved road.

Stage 1 — Acquisition

Device work is scheduled to the lab calendar. Typical turnaround is two to three weeks from signed engagement. Rush dates are quoted in writing before we start. If requested, a copy of the forensic image is returned with the report, at no separate fee.

Data-carving configured to the matter. Analysis specific to the case. No hunting and snooping. Stage 2 search agreements contain hard numbers — no bait and switch. Password recovery and credential access when lawful and in scope. Every engagement includes a complete expert report prepared for Federal Rule of Civil Procedure 26 disclosure — method, chain of custody, forensic imaging and hash verification of the working copy, findings, and opinions. Written so counsel can produce it.
